CoRE Network

The Cross-Border Community Energy Conference was held at Marshall Meadows Hotel in Berwick-upon-Tweed on 27 October 2008.

Over 80 people attended the conference, which had speakers from the Renewable Energy sector from both North and South of the Scottish/English Border.  

Speakers included: Rt Hon Alan Beith MP; Robin Harper MSP; Neil Witney, Head of Renewable and Low Carbon Energy, Department of Energy and Climate Change; Ewan Boyd, Teesdale Environmental Consulting; Charlotte Hatto, North Energy; Ian Fisher, Northumberland College; Ross Weddle, CoRE; Julien Lake, Berwick Community Trust and Philip Revell, Sustaining Dunbar.
