Training on the Social Enterprise model for creating a Community Hydro Power project, in particular an Archimedes Screw
Transition Tynedale is organising training for a medium scale community hydro power project on Friday 25th June from 11am to 3 pm in the Council Chamber, Prospect House, Hexham (next to the Old Gaol). Attendance is open to interested parties and will be free, but you may be asked for a small contribution towards refreshments.
Trainers will be Steve Welsh from Water Power Enterprises, who trains and takes community groups through the stages for providing Archimedes Screw hydro projects, and Ross Weddle from CORE, Community Renewable Energy Ltd, who supports NE renewable energy projects.
